I just loaded up Halo: PC on my CPU for the first time, intending to play multiplayer game, but it says "manual update required from www.microsoft.com/games/Halo/downloads.asp.

I went to the site to get the update, and it says "Page cannot be displayed". Does anyone else have this problem? Or is it just me? Is there somewhere else that I can get the update? Can I play without it?

I know that's a lot of questions, but I need help :(

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

Hello Will.I.Am.

Your problem is little to no problem really. The usual step in this is to go to Microsoft's Halo PC Page and go the 'Downloads' section, download the v1.07 and install it. But hey, there is also an easier step. If you go to 'My PC', 'C:/' drive, 'Program Files', 'Microsoft Games', 'Halo', and then click on the icon that says 'haloupdate', it should update by itself and you'll be playing Multiplayer in no time!

If you're in need of any more assistance, contact me to my XFire: 'sniperwaffle'.

Enjoy!

Got to here

Partway down the page it will say "DOWNLOAD HOT-FIX v1.07"

Download that, then go to the folder where you have halo installed and put it there, then run it.

There you go, Halo PC should work then.
