The linking usually takes a little bit of time. Just be patient and hopefully it will happen.

Sign into Xbox Live via your gamertag linked to your Bungie.net account and play a few Halo 3 online matchmaking games. That will most likely trigger Bungie.net to update your profile and correct any errors from performing any actions such as linking your gamertag, unlinking your gamertag, changing WLID associated with your gamertag, or changing your gamertag display name.

I have the same problem! Maybe a problem with bungie? I see you tried this on the 19th. As did I. I've emailed the support team, but am hoping for a resolution sooner. I tried playing some matches afterward but it still says I haven't played online, although I've been playing online since the release of Halo 3. Any further help is appreciated.

Hmm. Perhaps try signing into every passport linked account you have. (Bungie.net, Xbox.com, Hotmail.com)
There is the Passport.net site.
Clicky.
And double check to see if it's actually linked.

I can bet you a $1000 that it has to do with your name. If you would find a friend of yours you´ve been playing with you will be in his match stats but when you are clicking the link that is your GT nothing will happen. Theres 5 people asking about this in the Halo 3 forum every day and they all got names in the grey-zone of whats allowed.

That is most definately not it. Because... i made an account before i got my 360 and you can look it up. Look up jewboop, and you'll find it, so its not the name.

i guess if Bungie thinks its inappropriate then it is not going to show up i have seen the word jew, porno, and mine which if interpreted incorrectly can have a refrence to racism... (which it doesnt)

That's odd, when I linked my account to Xbox Live it instantly showed my stats. My friend on the other hand took a couple hours to get his to show.

its because on this account the word jew is all out on its own... the automated censor wont pull it out when its all in one word because it could just be 3 letters in that word with no relation to jew at all... for example if someones name included the word "jewel" it would not be censored out and since the automated censor cant determine this, it is uncensored. but when it is like yours and out in the open it is easy to see that it means "jew"... as goes with mine... whitepow3r cant be confused with any other word really... my name is censored because of its racial relation.

(NOTE: I'M NOT RACIST... I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT MY GAMERTAG BEING OFFENSIVE UNTIL AFTER MY FRIENDS SAW IT..) I'm going to abandon it once my 3 month runs out.

Well....The White Power Ranger was pretty much the most awesome of the original power rangers. He had the the talking dagger AND the White Tiger Zord

^_^

I suppose the censor thing is good. It keeps the wrong kind of people from being on Bungie, although it does seem to filter out special cases like yourself.
