ok stickies seem to be getting a bit out of control...

if you look at this page

http://www.bungie.net/Forums/topics.aspx?forumID=105242

there are 10 sticky threads. seems a bit over kill to goto each page and see over half the page filled with sticky.

cant you just put a look here for sticky links rather than post each one individually?

The Frozen Minority; Bungie's real underground. The oldest members, the deepest controversy, walking infamy.

No one reads them when we have 10 pages saying "STICKY" and "READ THIS FIRST" and "MODERATOR NOTICE!" and, my personal favorite "READ THIS OR I WILL BAN YOU".

I shudder to think how many people will bother to read a sticky that says "read these 30 links please". I wouldn't bother reading that.

Maybe there could be a hide stickies feature, but it should only work after a user has actually read the stickies and after they have been registered for x Days.

Ignorance of the rules is no excuse. If they're not up there, people say "No one warned me!" This way, regardless of whether people don't want to read them, they're there.

It's like the pointless warning labels on products, however silly they may seem, no one ever got sued for putting a warning on something.

On top of that, plenty of people DO, in fact, read the rules.

The few, the proud, the rule abiders. The stickies don't bother me, in fact IO'm a huge supporter of the things. The only other way to get people to read the rules is to make some crazy user agreement that can tell if you read them.
