Do you know where you installed Halo CE to?... If not, have a search for it and get back to me... It's got to be on your 'C' drive somewhere... Look in 'Programs'.

That's rerally simple dude... Just start up Halo CE and choose the map same as you would do on Halo pc... If you are searching for a game to play though, make sure you set your filters to show 'user created maps'. That's it!

Job's a goodun!

Why don't you come and join my server?

Then it sounds like you haven't put the maps in the right place dude... Double check.

If you don't have the maps in the right location, of course it will tell you that you can't join, coz it thinks you don't have the map.

Tell me the EXACT path to your Halo CE maps folder...

Okay, in my desktop there is a shortcut that takes you to a file called cMicrosoft gameshalo cemaps. What I did was I downloaded Zanzibar and when it was done I right clicked the folder (zanzibar) and using the mouse, I literally moved it over the maps folder and "dropped" it there. I then checked my folder and it was inside.

I really need good directions for this......

Most definately NOT the way to do it!

What you need to do, once you have downloaded a map, is EXTRACT the map first . You won't be able to do anything untill you do this.

Then, you copy ONLY the map file into the CE map folder. If you don't know where that is, search for it manually in 'Program Files'. It should be fairly easy to find.

Once you've found it, NOT a shortcut on your desktop, put the actual map file in there. Hey presto! You can now play that map...

If you are still unsure about where the maps folder is, use the search function in the start menu and search for 'Bloodgulch' or some other map. You should be given 2 locations, and one of these is where you put the EXTRACTED map.

Hope this helps...
