If any of you have seen it, go to halo.bungie.org, go to movies, type in "AotCR", youll find a speedrun by Juggertrout. He did it in HaloXbox I was wondering if I could shade jump from the first bridge in HaloPC. I get through to the bridge easy, I throw a plasma nade, stand on the side just out of the path of the shade, then i get on but I always seem to die before I hit the ledge. Is there just a shorter fall death distance in Halo PC?

Come on people, I know someone is out there.
I tried to jump to this ledge on the right side of the bridge when you enter. I die each time. Theres a ledge closer to where you are on the left side, but it doesn't communicate with the aforementioned ledge. Is this ledge a deathzone? It seems I can never land on it.

Well, I have tried this. And it doesn't work on Halo:PC but does on the xbox version.

The levels and such were tweaked a bit for Halo:PC, and new "death walls" were added. If a player crosses these, from either direction, he dies. Also, the vehicles changed a bit. Including the turret, if a vehicle falls x feet, no matter what it is doing, the rider will die. See, in xbox, you could just flip/rotate a vehicle or turret forever, as long as no death walls were in your path - again, this was changed for Halo:PC.

Why did they add this stuff? PC players are notorious for exploring games to the limit, trying stuff, such as this shade jumping. PC players are just more hardcore than console players, that's all :)

Well, it is possible
Maybe it was luck or something, but i actually landed on the white ledge with only 3 health left. The best way i think is to move your reticle into the wall and pray that it hits it and slows down the death timer. After that, im not really sure.....
Or you can grab a devtrainer (which really sucks and srews up your halo and comp)

Yep, getting on top of levels is no problem, especially 343 guilty spark. When the dropship lets you off, run to the front of it, jump on the rock, and then onto the top of the pelican (will require a crouch jump). Ride near the tail, and (takes some timing), jump just as you hit the invisible wall. You'll end up on top. If you wander a bit, you'll find a lone marine with no AI programmed into him...

Lots of other things, just look at highimpacthalo.org and Frogblast's site.
