Last night I spent a good part of an hour writing about what I'd like to see changed about vehicles in Halo 3. And now it's gone...

I posted it in The Underground Forum, which seems like the right place. It had no contriversial material, flaming, etc.

So, where did it go? I've looked through that forum going back to Jan. 5 (my post was on Jan. 7). I know it was posted there long enough for at least one person to read because someone PMed me about it.

I've noticed this happening to other topics as well that I posted on last night, but today are MIA.

So, what's up Bungie?

I feel your pain brethren, its like losing a tenner. I THINK that bungie are actually targetting individuals like you and I so that we get angry. With anger comes a need to vent it. So what to do?, I know, I'll play some losers on some fassy rumble pit for half and hour, next thing you know you've bought the entire bungie back catalogue and merchandise range (including the grunt action figure which sort of gives your life meaning). It's just an eleaborate ploy to line Billy boy's pocket.

I don't know about that.

I just want to know what happened to my topic. I was trying to help Bungie out by giving them some ideas. If they chose to delete it or lost it (I don't even see it Xed out, moved, or anything like other topics), then it's their loss.

I'm not going to write the whole thing again because I'm a busy man and there's only so much of this foolishness I can take.

For the last time. Bungie is working on a search feature right now and they're almost done. Give them a break and just wait. After spending 1.5 years on this site just for the fans the least you guys can do is wait. Also think of it as we are beta testers for these forum. We suggest thing to bungie, they work on these with ideal science and make things better for all users and other companys.

Remember, Halo and Halo 2 topics don't belong in The Underground any more - we have dedicated boards for those now.

As for you Halo 3 topic, either it's buried under the other posts or it was deleted, either intentionally or mistakenly. You have to remember that innocent posts could be deleted along with the off-topic posts.

That's cabbage water. The name of the topic was "A Note on Halo Vehicles". You mean because I didn't put a "3" after the word "Halo" my topic got deleted by a mod without them even reading it? It was clearly stated in the first paragraph that they were ideas for Halo 3, not Halo 2 Glad to see you guys take your responsibilities seriously.

Hogwash.

You try moderating a forum with hundreds of thousands of users, many of whom haven't read the rules at all, and countless posts, many of which are off-topic. Sorry, but when checking the suitability of a post, we don't have time to read, re-read, absorb, contemplate; any of the many things a normal user would do. I for one skim-read them and if they still seem unsuitable either delete or move them.

Until you've had experience of it, you're in no position to comment on it.

Hey, I work at an inventory company counting thousands if not millions of dollars worth of merchandise everyday. All I'm saying is that if I was counting a Wal Mart and just "skimmed" the store and guessed on how much merchandise was there, I probably wouldn't have a job.

Tossing insults at moderators isn't the best way to ensure your own longevity on this website. Counting items has nothing to do with dealing with trolls. We also don't get paid for this crap, so it's really nothing at all like your job.

You also have to realize that BUngie does not accept ideas for thier games outside of thierselves, in other words, they dont accept your suggestions, or anyone else on this forum(for their games), so it might have been deleted for that reason. And give the Mods a break, the made a mistake, live with it, imagine what it would be like here without them, i dont want to personally, its anooying enough as it is. Realize: People make mistakes and you have to live with them, if you do nothing but whine about it you will gte nowhere, move on.

I can accept that answer, whether that's what happened or not. All I was looking for was a simple "sorry", then I would have just wrote the topic again. Even a lie would have better than the answer I first got. Someone could have said it was a server malfunction or something, how am I to know the difference.

I'm sorry if I seemed confrontational, I just feel like I have a right to be angry when work I do gets trashed with no reason or notification.

Yea I agree with you there, however I dont think this guy was whining, I dont know, but the bright side of it is not all the new members are like that.

You don't have that right, though. The mods are human beings. They're just as ignorant, arrogant, and just as susceptible to mistakes as any other human being, and that's just something you'll have to accept.

I wish I signed up on the 8th so I could be way cooler than the people who did it on the 9th.
