Because it gets carried away. In other words: It would happen too much. I personally hate the word n-word because it really doesn't mean anything to me. It's just a lame over used word. Plus it's slang. =/ Instead of insulting someone for something, be nice.

I suppose it's true that the word originally meant "new person" or "newcomer", but that's not the way that 99% of its users use it. Most people who say that word mean it in a derogatory sort of way, which is part of the reason why it's not allowed on Bungie.net.
