Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Hey so I'm building a theme and I'm wondering...
How do you get the transparent filter in photoshop, so that the image in the announcements subsection and those places seems to be under the posts?
What I usually do is this. Select the layer, then go to 'Select' then 'Color Range'. Select the part you want to make transparent on that layer, in this case the backround of the announcements. Select the backround, then move 'Fuzziness' bar to about 192. Then, select the 'Rectangle Marquee Tool' and right click on the blackish gray area. Then select 'Fill...'. Then, on the 'Mode' set it to 'Clear' and for the opacity, set it to about ten or so.
Mind you, this is a walkthough for CS3.
