I guess we will just have to wait and see. I'm in the same boast with avatar submissions.

You guys need to realize that if your theme gets accepted, you will NOT get a new title because of it.

I have three themes accepted, and I'm still waiting on the title.

They only gave them to the original theme makers. All the subsequent theme makers used somebody else's work (theme creator) to complete their submission.

No, I created the Superintendent! theme. That was original. I believe I still have the photoshop documents to prove it. I spent loads of time on the CSS also. I didn't use anyone else's creation for it.

I guess I am misinformed then, I was just parroting back something that I recall a reading somewhere.

I am hoping stosh still accepts these..? I have one for a new group I'm working on. What type of file should it be saved as in the email?

  • 12.30.2011 11:32 AM PDT

Yes, thanks I got it now :)

One thing, is it possible to expand the right_sidebar_bottom upwards to go under the group sidebar?

Is the thememaker hard to use? Is it like a program or something?

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I don't think we are going to set up any new themes for a while

Sorry folks. I suggested to him that he update the theme thread to reflect this. Obviously things are a bit busy over the holidays.

Well, at least he finally gave word. Now it would be nice to know about the avatars. I wonder why he would have decided to withhold this information for so long.

That doesn't really suprise me. Although some people enjoy just making themes, so the tools are there if anyone wants to use them. The themes can always be used with Greasemonkey anyway.

I imagine avatars have suffered a similar fate. Again, I'm not surprised. It's not like any have been accepted in forever anyhow.

Soooooooo how does this work? Should I just send them all in a zipped archive to Stosh and then hope? Also how long might this take..

Yep, zip the entire folder. It could take months though, considering he isn't really looking for themes right now.
