ok so we have all heard that bungie fixed the cheating problem in halo 3 right? well thats what i thought until last night when we went into team slayer and got standbyed by the same people twice in a row. the first time we thought it was my friend because he has had connection problems but the second time we got matched up with the same people so we asked him to quit out and we were still straight red and lost 50 to 16. i have the videos on my file share if you dont believe me. we did good on valhalla and almost won suprisingly but the second time on construct was horrible. if you watch the vids pay attention to the time, score and press select every now and then to see how we wouldnt spawn while they just walked around. oh and after the second match they even admitted to figuring it out so yea it wasnt "a bad host" as people would call it. so i want to know what bungie is going to do mainley because if one idiot figures it out then a lot are going to and then what happens? it becomes like halo 2. You should never assume, under any circumstances that a gamer was standbying. From what I am aware of, Bungie is working on implementing a more efficient Halo 3 banhammer in the first scheduled automatic update, in which the release is still... to be determined. As for solutions on what you can do, try using the Xbox 360 guide features to help improve your online experience. There are features that allow you to mute a player, avoid a player, and even file a complaint just from accessing the guide.
I know that you may not be familiar with how the Bungie.net forums operate, but each forum is dedicated to a specific topic. To avoid posting off topic, which may lead to a unexpected warning/suspension later on, I would suggest reviewing the Forum Rules and stickies at the top of each forum. Because this topic is not directly related to Bungie community activity and discussion, I would kindly recommend posting this thread in the Halo 3 Forum, located here, to receive more beneficial replies. Thank you for your cooperation.
