Well, you card is terrible. And that's being optimistic. Why? Halo needs at least a 64MB card to run halfway crappy. Your processor leaves some to be desired, and I'm guessing it's pentium 4, right? Also, tell what your memory is, as well as if it is pentium 4 or an AMD.

The card is your problem. Description of RAM, video cards, and stuff Read to understand what follows:

Radeon 9600 XT if you are tight on cash.
Radeon 9800 Pro if you have money to burn.

It's important to know if your card is AGP or PCI. Again, read the post in the link - it will help you understand how to find out which slot you have. If you don't want to buy a new card, turn all the settings to either low or off - even then your gaming experience will suck.

Nowadays, 128MB cards are the minimum to get by. Methinks you need a new video card, or a new computer :) Read the stickies, one has info about building a PC. Embedded is a list of other graphics cards to use. Minimum for ATI is 9600 series, probably like, fx5500 or so for nvidia (don't trust me on this, I have never used nvidia).

Haha, intel integrated graphics are pretty bad...

Yeah, if your card is that old, chances are so is your PC. A new card may not be enough. If you have money, you can get a pretty nice PC for $1200-1500

Heyyo,

And if you're too cheap to buy a new card (of all computer parts, splurge the most on the videocard, cause it's like, the main building block for us gamers), there's other solutions... like this:

Yeah, the game's still fugly, but at least it looks less fugly. :p
