i was just thinkin, it would be awesome if i could make my own website. and i've seen some of you guys do it and they rock. so how do i start one up?
p.s. it doesn't cost any money does it?

Ive always relied on homestead to make my websites, it's $80 a year but you can do it for free with the trial, the only drawback with that is you only get liek2 pages and 5 megs of space. If your just a beginner I recommend Geocities.

Unless you mean a 7th column chapter. Then you'll have to wait until bungie accepts new ones.

Also if you do finally get one a good place to go to shorten the address for free is www.cjb.net. The only problem with that place is after a while it will put and add on your page. Which stinks if you use geocities because it is also ad supported, unless you pay.

Learning HTML is the first step. It's amazingly easy to learn the basics. For the most part, it consists solely of formatting tags. I was able to teach myself years ago by studying other pages source code, and I was 8.

I learned all of my html skills at http://w3schools.com and I'm pretty good. I'm working on a site right now, in fact.
