Ummmm . . . they've been making games for over a decade, what makes you think they'd stop after making Halo? (Don't ever say such a thing!) And remember, Bungie is an entity, the poeple that make it come and go. (apologies for any mistakes I may make with my info) For example, Greg Kirkpatrick was a big force in marathon: he wrote much of the story and made many of the levels. But that doesn't mean that without him, Halo didn't have a good story ;) I think he now works for Wideload, which promises great stories. Hmmmm ;)
Also, I'm not sure if you ever remember hearing about Phoenix. It was one of the games that bungie was working on after(during?) Halo was released. It was a medieval RTS game. Eventually they said they were having trouble making it fun so they dropped it, and the team was more than willing to join Halo 2. Bungie has done many different types of games; i'm just more interested in seeing if the fanbase will allow them to make games in a different genre! But don't worry, whatever they do after Halo, it'll be good!
