Heh, personally, this "trust" system we have in place kinda reminds of XBL's TrueSkill system. They both have a magical, secret algorithm, and they both have two main variables (at least, that we know of):
base_trust, base_skill
trust_modifier (which can be modified via bans, or good behavior), and skill_modifier (which is influences by how many wins you have in a row, or any myriad of reasons).
