Retarded thread. Sorry, but come on.

Anyway, in the E3 2003 demo you actually see at least two Grunts driving a Ghost.

@xiroke:

Do they really? i only saw the crappy E3 taping from the audince. I saw the chief tear open two with his BR, but never saw them piloting. That's pretty sick.

actually, they do drive in halo 2, watch the E3 vid , the part where chief is in the warthog about to go under the tunnel when the phantom arrives.... look at the ghost driving into it, the driver is a grunt, go check.....

Yah the E3 video proves they can drive plus in Halo 1 they were able to use shade turrets so it would make sense they'd let them use other vehicles/turrets

In Halo 2, Covenant Grunts will be able to drive certain vehicles like Ghosts, but because of their lack of real intelligence they will probably have very poor driving skills.

Believe it or not, but grunts aren't really THAT stupid. They're weak and small and they're not the best tacticians, but they're not that dumb.

How do you know. Did you lose a game of chess to one or somthing. Or was it in the books. I'm gettin them in 2 days so YAY
Anyway i hope they are smarter in all the other fields you mentioned. Bungie better post a cool screen of a halo 2 grunt in a ghost or a hunter in his modified PhaT BOY ghost.

Ya, I think grunts are a little smarter than people give them credit for. Sure, they always run away, but wouldn't you if you were being chased by a 7" tall cyborg whose only intent is to make you a splatter on the wall. And I just realized, grunts are actually pretty big. They're 5" tall, but look how wide the little bastards are, they're like 3" across.
