Subject: So, can you live without BNet for a week? Two?

It seems as if I've been spending a little too much time here. I made over 100 forum posts in one day (checked post history), and that looks like an unhealthy sign to me. It's also been chewing in to my other responcibilities in life as well, and just plain-out wastes time.

Anywho, I was wondering; would you be able to leave BNet for a week? At least, without viewing or posting to the forums? I'm sure a lot of you spend a little too much time on BNet as well.

Would you have the will-power to do this? I'm sure I can. I remember giving up BNet for two weeks once, and even giving up my computer for a week (but I fell back on my 360 in the meantime =X). And I seemed to be just alright with that. I didn't go insane, I didn't pounce back to my BNet or my computer once it was over. I was just like "hmm, already?".

If any of you think you might a bit of an addiction to BNet, do you think you can give it up for a little while, without falling back on, say, another forum, or another site you love to constantly check-back on? Some of my priorities in life have -blam!-ed because of this place, and I seem to be getting behind on some things now.

Again, do you think you have the will-power to do so? Do you even need to? Me? I think I'll give up BNet for two weeks. I'll still check the front page, and all, but no forums for me.

Personally, I'm just doing this to see if I have a problem. If I go nuts without it, I have a problem. And if you see me post here (or in a group) from any time between Feb. 1st and Feb. 15, I failed.

Also, for you daft people, don't consider this a "I'M LEAVING BNET, I HATE YOU ALL, BNET SUCKS" thread, or a blog of any sort. Just want to see if some of you who use this site quite regularly think you could leave it without popping.

Seeyah =]

I could, but definitely not during the winter or fall. During the summer, I could probably be gone for a month, but eh. Anyways, since it is still sort of Winter here in Colorado, there really isn't much to do other than be on Bungie. Also, I have noticed myself checking up on everything nearly constantly lately. I have been on bungie quiet a bit lately, like yourself Bapa.

Bnet is like a super drug. It glues you to my chair and forces you to stay. I seriously can't live with out this site. I will go mad if it vanishes. I will seriously be "trashed lost and strung out".

I've done it. Quite often, actually..

Especially recently, I have just suddenly had something far more important to do.

But do I enjoy it? Nah, not really. I like hanging out on here. :D

I get more ass than a toilet seat.

Well as being blacklisted before I would have to answer with a easy "Yes". As for Epidemic...

You missed the point like Vader missed the banshee, your whole argument is covered in bees.
Stop sending me group invites -blam!-s!

I was banned for three days and my head was starting to hurt when ban expiery date was overdue by ten minutes.

While I am not a blatent Halo/Bungie fanboy I love this community, I can't see myself posting anywhere else because this is the only decent community on the net. The moderators (although a little too strict at times and too lenient at others) keep this place healthy and filter out all the crap we have to deal with on a daily basis.

I've made too many friends here to just quit, sad but true.

Controlling fission events without incident since May, 2012.

You can always beg the mods for a two month ensured vacation if you don't have the self discipline to do it yourself. If you really need out that bad.

Now see, usually people that ask for a ban, either don't get it; or get a substantially longer ban then they ask for. So I don't think asking for a ban would be a wise decision, on anyones part.

yeah..... I just got back from a like, 2 month vacation. or so, from b.net. It really just isn't all that interesting anymore. I'm older, more mature. I take much more pleasure in actually PLAYING games, than I do TALKING about games.

Not to mention the fact that I actually have a life now....

oh, and the fact that the new b.net totally blows doesn't help either.

As soon as I hop on the net, I will unconsciously enter this forsaken madhouse. That's gotta mean something, right? Seeing as how my post count each day is usually less than ten, I don't feel like I spend a whole lot of time on here. That said, I really respect the community, and I've made a decent lot of friends throughout the past couple of years.

But I never did answer your question, did I, Bapa? Well, I think I could probably spend about two or three months offline, and still keep my sanity (of what's left, that is).

As far I see now that I have a "life" or a better one let's say I spend less time here. And when I post it'll be not a lot. And when it's not a lot I bet I'll get Blisted for it. Can't-really-talk-freely.
