in the "Halo 2 documentary", joe staten mentions a character named Miranda. who is she? another spartan? a marine? a covenant ally? Shi es not an AI because she strapped a bomb to the MC (but that plot element seems to have been cut). maybe shes a covie? that would be dope to fight alongside an elite chick. freaky.

The guy she dumped made the scene where John gets shoved down a hole. They scrapped it because it had nothing to do with Halo2 .

I've never understood that particular passage in the documentary, but I don't think we'll ever get clarification. Joe did say it would "go down in the untold lore of Bungie", and when Bungie doesn't want a secret out, it doesn't get out. Period.

he says theres a cinematic of some sort where mirand staps a bomb on the master chief and tosse him down a hole, Its probally a really rough scene that was made for fun and she was just teasing the guys at bungie, or her co workers. Besides what kind of covenant ally straps a bomb on you? 1. master chief wouldnt let that happen, 2. he die and the story would end there.

I believe you guys misread a post that I also have a belief in.

I am theorizing that Jason Jones had a break up with a girl of some sort that caused him to add in the scene where this "Miranda" character straps a bomb to the Master Chief.

Now, I am going to assume that Miranda is either a Spartan, or this women.

I mean, who else could manage to strap a bomb to the Chief? And I do not see an Elite or Brute named "Miranda".

There are two groups of people in the world - those that hope, and those that wish. The first group hopes that nothing bad will happen. The second group wishes that they are there when it does. Which one are you?

Agreed. Miranda is not an actual person in real life, but does represent one. The scene they talk about is a scene of great betrayal which apparently mimics was happened in real life between Jason and his girlfriend. Either it's a scene that was cut because it had nothing to do with Halo 2 and was just a vent for poor Jason, or there is someone either named Miranda or nicknamed Miranda who was in a position to betray MC and does so, which i must say could make for one hell of a plot twist.
