Subject: Good Idea?

Being a member of the B.Net Community and a active member of the Forums, I see alot of Spam. Everytime I see Spam, and knowing I really can't do anything about it right at the moment, kills me. These mind-less threads can go on for a while without a Ninja coming to lock it. These experiences have inspired me to come up with this.
I think that there can be back-up Ninjas who have Specific Forums to look after.
They would ofcourse be able to visit other Forums, but not be able to lock anything in it.
These Ninjas would have to be on alot. Let me re-emphasize...ALOT.

These would be the Ninja Names, or atleast Concepts:

Halo 3 Forum - H3 Ninja
Halo 3 Files Forums - Files Ninja
Optimatch Playlist Discussion - Optimatch Ninja
Bungie General Forum - General Ninja
Bungie.Net Community Forum - Community Ninja
Off Topic Forum: The Flood - Flood Ninja
Halo 2 Forum - H2 Ninja
Halo 1 & 2 for PC - PC Ninja
Halo Combat Evolved Forum - HCE Ninja
The Classifieds - Classifieds Ninja

It's not the ninjas' fault that spam threads spiral out of control. It's the members' fault. They need to learn how to not reply to spam.

Also, having specified "back up ninjas" assigned to each forum is silly. It would work better if there were "back up ninjas" that covered all of the forums. What if there are no "H3 back up ninjas" around? What would happen then? The same thing you're complaining about.

The way things work now is fine. Just because you can't see things happen immediately, doesn't mean that they won't happen

shhhhhhh

If you trust someone to moderate one forum, why not the others? Specializing moderators for specific forums isn't that great of an idea in my opinion.

If you can trust someone with one forum, you can trust them with all of the forums.

How about that report button that appears under nearly every post?

Estne volumen in toga an solum tibi libet me videre?

Nothing suits me like a suit.

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

The Halo 3 forum, mostly.

ON TOPIC: I think its unnecessary. We have a report spam button. Its not the amount of spam threads, its the fact that everybody likes to say 'Inb4lck' or 'Guys, don't respond to spam.' It bumps up the threads.
