Well, the Super Bowl thread in the Flood was by far the "highest traffic" I've ever seen online here in a single thread at Bnet. I remember before that posts sometimes would not show up for a couple minutes, and it would switch back and forth between a post/topic being made and it not existing yet, etc. Things just.. weren't instantaneous.

However, things came down to the split second in the Super Bowl thread. Posts would show up instantly and any edits show up and stay. The old site I know probably could not have handled such a high volume of posting. Things just seem a lot more "quicker" around here.

I also am not receiving any error messages about "topic not found" or "post could not be created" or anything else.

I have to give Achronos and anyone else who worked on the new version of the forums credit. I'm still getting used to the new layout, but other than that, everything seems much quicker and easier to work with.

Highest traffic? Maybe for the forums, but even that is debatable. But the highest traffic here ever was when Halo 3 was released, and that I can guarantee you. I imagine that the forums weren't near their breaking strain by a longshot, but it certainly handled well compared to other instances here.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Agreed, Sgt. The forums seem to move a lot quicker, even if my computer is slow...Everything just seems to flow very well. Great job web team.

I would have thought it was the night the Beta didn't come out.

That was hell.

I fail to see anything super about bowling . . .

I was surprised that the thread went up to 30 pages in that amount of time. =D I still received one topic not found page though. =)

I was mainly referring to traffic in a single thread. You're probably right about overall traffic though.
