At the end of the war. Nothing remains but a few Spartans. We are the only ones left. We are the Last Defence.

There have been many issues regarding peoples' ranks and their struggle with the system. I feel that although the system has been explained in detail it has not been made simple enough for people. The fact that it has some flaws does not help but further alienates one's understanding of it. For some people it has been clear-cut and is seemingly fine, but for others there are unexplained patterns and/or lack of consistency.
I didn't have many games played at all because I won almost all of them to get there. The reason in some cases people don't go up is because they win and lose alternatively and their record gets elongated and makes it acts as a win buffer making it harder to go up. What i mean is that for people that have played more games it will take more consistency to go up.
Yes i know about the team ranking up problem, that is a special case that only Bungie, the makers and designers will be able to perhaps explain and for sure fix for wither AU1 or the next one.
I think what would be THE BEST THING EVER and would most likely put most of this stuff to rest is if Bungie re-implemented the whole individual ranks page (if you don't know what i mean, it is the ranks page everyone has for H2), most especially because it showed you how many games you have played and out of those won. That would act as a tool for people to use as either to explain or to predict their standing in their quest to improve themselves and achieve a higher rank.
The service record as it is now is great, but if it had that section or link to an extra page it would be even better. It would provide detail and really be a track record for an individual. If people have their record to look at then they would be able to rationalize for themselves their success or lack thereof.
I don't really see any problems with implementing it. It would require some technical work but if it's for the benefit for the community it shouldn't be a problem. As for the actual stats, i don't think portraying peoples' stats will pose an issue. I think the days of cheating in Halo are coming to a stop. The display of stats wouldn't serve as an incentive to cheat for a perfect record. Yes you can exp boost but the community has proved too intelligent to be fooled by those people and boasting is on a low.
That said I believe that this will only serve to benefit and increase the enjoyment of the community.
Thank you if you read this and please I would like people to vote and comment. This so far is a proposition and should be thus refined by being challenged, explored and questioned.
So in the pursuit of Tru7h, Bring it on lol.
