Has anyone looked at the postings in Zanzibar lately. Everyone is complainging about the cheating. Forgive me for my insensitivity but I've only been cheated on once since the game came out in November. I've even looked at the stats of people claiming that they have had the cheat used against them 2/3 times. They have usually won more than half of their games. I thought that when someone used the cheat the people being cheated against lose the game. If I remember correctly 2/3 is greater than 1/2. So if they were being cheated against 2/3 times then your win ratio would be less than 1/3 for reasons that should be obvious. Now I'm treading close to this being a multiplayer post. I only say this to set the scene.

In newspapers they have editorials and soapbox sections. What I'm suggesting is that we have another forum for complaints. Since there is already a section of the site called the soapbox so we will need another name. My suggestions are "On the Rag" or "The Psychologist's Couch". Do you think this is a good idea for improving the forums? What name would you give the forum? Do you think that this new forum would further bungie's plans for world domination? What would the Masterchief do?

While I'm thinking about it a thread search would be very helpful. Great site, great game BUNGLE.

I would rather see a Support Forum.

This is a Forum for suggestions. Suggestions > Complaints.

Of course it would become a cesspool overnight.

That is the point, let the complainers and rumor starters enjoy their cesspool and clear out the other places for legitamate discussion. They could make a trash forum called no man's land were there are no rules. Let people trash talk rumor and complain all they want. I think a seperate complaint forum could even be useful because I have seen some constructive complaints and it could be used as one consolidated area to receive feedback

I thought that a forum entitled "The Rumor Mill" would be a great idea.

.

Rumor mill, i think that would be a good idea, but personally i believe that a complaint forum would be a horrible waste of space.

I'm amused at the social parallels we're drawing here. Just like in real life, it's far easier and more sensible to direct and manage bad things to not interfere with good things, than it is to stop the bad things altogether.

Drugs, abortion, warfare, class exploitation, environmental destruction, and Bungie.net imbecile posts.

I still like a support forum. you always see people asking, How do i join a group. How do you make colors? ect. Maybe if bungie hire's a Soul again then he could live there in that forum.
And stickys on top that explain everything. So if people have a question no answered they can just post in the Support forum. That would clean up this forum.

I could swear that's what the Septagon is for - after all, it'd be almost pointless without the theme of Support.

I like the way you think. Or maybe I like you because you think. Ah hell, it has something to do with thinking. Its kind of cynical and underhanded yet it gets the point across well.
