If any of you guys have these things, do they actually work well? The room I play in about 75 feet away from my router, will it still work well? Also, is there any cheaper wireless alternative? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Linksys is really good. I've got one of their routers, it's already 4 years old but still has 11 Mbps on 4 wireless channels. It's pretty darn fast and has about a 150 foot radius. Get the newer ones, though. Older version can't make it through walls too well.

If you have a lyksys router (like comcast uses) and you get the wireless xbox adapter. Make sure you change setings so it allows all traffic.

And how did Sexy legs davis get that avatar?

I have xbox live..you need it. After creating an avatar for xbox live, go to 'my settings', and under avatars, select the box for xbl avatar. If you don't have live...well that sucks

Dude its a great idea to get one. I got one. What I would do is buy one at walmart for like $60 and get a 14foot ethernet wire. The Rj-somthing or other. Its great but try to get it so that people dont walk in the signal all the time or you will get some baaaaaaaad lag.

Don't think someone walking in front you should cause lag or any problems in your wireless. Unless said person is broadcasting some sort of RF signal or made of lead.

I use the Microsoft Wireless adapter with my Linksys Router. I have never had any issues at all.

Remember, trust is calculated daily, and the maximum value possible changes every day too. Since the titles are based on the percentage your trust value is compared to the maximum value, it can easily change if the max value goes up further than you go up in the intervening time, even if you haven't had any negative items against you.

In other words, no the system isn't buggy, stop asking why your title changed, I'm not going to tell you.

Im using a Belkin router and a Linksys wireless adaptor. They work great. People moving in the signal wont cause lag, unless they really are made of lead and are 100' wide.
