I just noticed i lost my legendary member status recently. No warnings or anything. :( Must be because I didn't post in a month or more.Say, for example, you have 1,000 "Rank Points" and it takes 1,000 to be a Legendary Member, making you Legendary. Now, say that someone else has 999 "Rank Points", making them Heroic; You lose a point because you have been inactive for a month and they gain a point because they have been active, trustworthy, and just generally a good member. This would effectively make you a Heroic Member while they take your place as a Legendary Member.
[CHART]
Member=0-249 "Rank Points"
Heroic Member=250-999 "Rank Points"
Legendary Member=1,000-1,999 "Rank Points"
Mythic=2,000-∞ (Staff, Employee, Theme Master, and Webcam MVP "Rank Points", I imagine, are recorded but don't have a practical purpose.)
You: 1,000
(Other person): 999
You are inactive resulting in the loss of a "Rank Point" (1,000-1=999)
They are active resulting in the gain of a "Rank Point" (999+1=1,000)
This means that you lose your spot and they replace you as a Legendary Member. If there is always a set amount of members for every member title than I suppose this would be the dynamic that keeps it stable.
(This was just a presentation of my hypothesis on how it works, not how it really does. I imagine the system is much more complicated than this but I think it works well as a simplified analogy.)
If this chart is accurate, I wish I could see my "trust rating". I was banned three times in rapid succesion so it would be purely for laughs.
