Mods on power trips crack me up.

Why cant bungie admit they got Halo PC very badly wrong and left it to rot?

I agree with him. The amount of times I've lost a game because half my team are just standing there not playing... and then the other team is like "but the teams are even in numbers so it's fair".

Heyyo,

Let's face it boys, we bought a game hoping for some support... but it turns out we bought the wrong game... in the last couple of weeks I've played more HL2DM and CSS than Halo... I'm startin' to lose interest in the game. Man, at this rate I'll be playing more Return To Castle Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory than HaloPC or CE..... Gj there bungine, M$, and Gearbox, ya ruined a perfectly fine game with your lack of care....

The best days of HaloPC were back on v1.04 patch. That was their best patch, after that things started to go down hill... missing Bungie servers, or should I word it their way 'under maintenace for long periods of time'. Autoupdaters getting hacked, and finally, v1.06 patch... the lowest of the low for this game, ruining its longevity more than the already crappy netcode. :p

HaloPC was for pure profits, not quality. Sheesh, bungie's as bad as ea now... I wouldn't be amazed if they had a section inna basement cellar entitiles "HaloPC Tech Support" with guys chained to a desk, trying to code patches... lol.

You have to blame Gearbox for Halo PC.

Something so tell`s me i`m gona tell all of these a-holes like M$,Bungie and GearBox to go F THEMSELVS!!!
I`ve had just about enough of their lack of care and stuff like that tward the PC gaming crowd...they can keep their cheapass crapbox and Halo For N00bs(or Halo2 whatever you like to call it)
I`l hang in there for a little longer and see if they decide to do anything about it and if not i`l just play whatever ...i love Halo`s story to bad we PC players are getting -blam!- handed to us on a plater from M$ & Co.
Ah well looks like i`l be movin` on to Valve`s prods and UT...and every PC FPS`s most loved game manufacturer ID soft ...in my home town the main LAN users started to resourect Quake 2 and Q2 rogues edge plus a bunch of skins and so on...beats waiting and getting pissedoff by Halo`s crapy lagging and performance...just the graphics are low and old but we can live with them...it`s a clasic affter all :))

Heyyo,

Bungine ain't gonna tell us jack all. All you can do is sit back, and join other servers... Us here in North America havn't seen a Bungie server in over 1 MONTH, so consider yourselves lucky to at least have any at all... I bet most of them (and all Nother American HaloPC severs) were converted to #@$%^ $b0x #@$^%#$%#$ Halo2 servers.....

Valve not being nice? HA! at least they release patches that actually do GOOD for the community. They even created the VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) system. Do you see a BAC (Bungie Anti Cheat) system for Halo? nope.. luckly they made the netcode crappy and no 3rd party mod support like proper fakeclients for computer ai there isin't any hacks or anything.

Splash Damage, a new game company made Return To Casle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and OMG. Definately one of the best multiplayer experiences out there people. Soo much teamwork, and the game was built soo nicely, it's definately the best Freeware game out there. Netcode's solid, runs great on all computers.. I'm gonna be keeping an eye out for games made by this company, they're currently making a game using the Doom 3 Engine... so watch out for this one boys, even if it's only 3/4ths the awesomeness that is Enemy Territory, it'll rock. ;)

Riiiiiiiiiiight.

Because the limitations of HaloPC RTM weren't due to the constraints imposed on them by Bungie/MS?

And as for blaiming GBX for not updating it, I suppose Bungie/MS don't hold the purse strings on that?
Here's an interesting quote for you from GBX;

"We're sitting here as bastard children to Bungie, with no authority and no budget"

Says it all.

I would guess that Goweb doesnt really know alot about HaloPC, judging by the fact he has played all the old Bungie games I would say hes probably a Mac user and everyone knows thay have a grudge against the world.

But Back on topic
Is there anyway way to contact the administrators of the EU Bungie servers?
Other than posting here and having mods edit/remove your post.

Heyyo,

Well, from what I've heard Gearbox ported Halo to PC, and now bungie n' M$ updates it. Gearbox made HaloCE, and they were supposed to up date it. They said if there's 1000 players on that they'd try to get perimission from Bungie and go on from there. So Lack of HaloCE updates blame Gearbox for setting an unrealistic goal (1000 players after only 3 weeks of HaloCE's release?), and then sticking to it.

HaloPC? keep blaming Bungie and M$, and keep sittin' here in the dark, contemplating what our next big games will be...

I hope that helps sort things out.

Since we were originally talking aboot HaloPC? -blam!- M$ n' Bungie @$#@%#$.... Way to be like EA and not support your games...

Btw, nothing wrong with Mac users, it's the support for macs that sucks. That's why they're mad. It's like us gamers vs unsupported games. So any mac brethren are welcome to curse M$ and bungie along side us. ;)
