it is impossible and anyone who says they have is lying

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

There is some type of contest for halo 2 to see who can beat it with out dieing, im not shore how that would work, u would have to video tape the game

NO.

But good job.

And yes, some website is giving away 150 bucks to the person who can complete Halo 2 Legendary all at once, without dying. But they have to be fastest to do it.

Actually before a tourney, i challenged myself to do this, and did it. It's not that hard if you do it all tacticly. Now halo 2 on legendary without ever dying, that's impossible. Keep in mind, I am much better at Halo 1 than Halo 2.

Edit: A website offering $150? Which website? And how could i prove it? I have no capture card or VCR. Maybe i could borrow my mom's VCR.

Edit 2: Oh and that was for a tourney where me and a bud beat the crap outta the guy who came in fourth in the world at one on one matches. His name was Big Sauce. Send me a PM with the website. I'll try and get some proof.

Halo 2 on legendary is extremely impossible. There are too many ultra elites. Brutes are absolutely insane on legendary. One slip can get you killed. You'd have to find out and study the best possible positions in EVERY situation in the game. That's a ton of memorizing, and a ton of hard work. I think they made legendary a little too hard in Halo 2. Ultra Elites suck, you can put 2 clips in them and their sheilds are still up. Then they recharge in 3 seconds, *yawn*.

Halo 1 on legendary is the exact same as Halo 2 on heroic. Sad thing is, playing on normal in Halo 2 is way too easy...they don't have a happy medium between heroic and normal in Halo 2.

Not complaining, just an observation. Love both of them.

Hey, everything is possible. You just need a very tactical person that knows the ins and outs of the AI...

I am not that person. My personal best is 22 deaths, most on Truth and Reconciliation. Damn that level is so hard...

I'm sure there is people out there that don't believe that I beat Halo 1 without dying, so its kinda weird for me to say this to you, but I think that story is crap. When I beat Halo 1 without dying on legendary, it was in two sittings. I took a break during the middle. I also before this had about 5 playthrough attempts, and each attempt, I took a break in the middle. Now to say this kid tried in one night, and succeded, but he started over everytime he died... something doesn't add up. If he played to say, the fifth level, then died, he would start over from the first level? That is what I did, but in 24 hours? That is completly impossible. The snipers alone make this impossible. So, your trying to say that after getting to the last level, and where the dual jackals snipe your head off on the bridge to the scarab, if he died he started over? That would only leave room for about 5 playthrough attempts in the 24 hour period, and that is if he stayed up constantly, never eating, sleeping, yawning, nothing. If there were no Jackal Snipers, I would agree that would be possible, but they are ace shots, and this time they take your head off, and not just your shield. If this isn't a fib, tell the guy I personally congratulate him. But, if it is a lie (and my detector is going off), you're only demeaning the people who actually beat the game without dying after weeks of attempts. And the jackals, by themselves, guarantee that it would take you weeks.

I hear lots of people talk about cheats and cheat codes. Are there such things for Halo and Halo 2? I never heard this before (newbie) - where would i find cheat codes to play around with?
