"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

That suggests people aren't using the report spam button enough, not that we need more moderators.

going into the files forum there are hundreds of double even triple posts, I report em, but they don't seem to stop, I think we need more ninjas in the files forums.

Ya I just went into the files forums and within the last 5 - 10 minutes reported 3+ posts in at least 5 threads full of bumpers.

EDIT - Just reported 1 guy who bumped 4 straight times yet again.

Also if they use the word "Bump" that should double their suspension.

EDIT v2 - Can we have the spam queve and the file forum queve divided?

I'm sure you understand what I mean.

Now that you've taken the time to look at my sig, I actually regret not providing you with something more worthwhile.

That's kinda silly ain't it? I mean, the report button is there to help the mods, but not place responsibilty on the community. If we're now responsible for moderating and the mods are just there to perform the action of locking, then can I go ahead and get my custom avatar?

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Yeah. I mean, if the problem is that big, why don't everyone use the button and report it? That should quickly get rid of the problem.

That's just a silly way to put it.
No comment needed.

What we really need is a separate "complaints forum". A lot of people seem to use this forum for complaints only. It's sad that the best forum on Bnet is constantly being filled with the whining of unsatisfied community members. lol

I don't know what trhe SP in titles mean, but it has nothing to do with bumping according to the thread I looked at.

All you really get in the files forum is people posting their own stuff. Obviously they think it's brilliant and want people to see it, but you're not going to respond to someone else's thread and bump yours down the page, are you? So what alternative do people have but to double or triple post.

I don't condone it and I don't like to see it. But it's what happens.

In an ideal world people would regularly visit the files forums and highlight the good stuff, while ignoring (and reporting if necessary) the bad. But it doesn't work like that.

I only say this because if you visit any files forum, the front page will be full of threads with 0 replies, threads with the OP relying and one or two threads with only a couple of replies.

The only other effective choice is recommend the file to friends and hope it takes off.

I almost pissed my pants when I read this garbage:

please look this is worth some time (not commenting peoples stuff is the #1 problem of bumping you should take a look at other peoples stuff even if it dosent have a catechy title!!!!!)

ROFL guy bumped twice already

I just now saw the bump record - 30 replies and 24 by the OP good thing knowing he'll be gone for 90 days.

Well the spam queve should be damn full considering I just reported 50+ posts.

This just in; we're only human.

I have substantial evidence proving otherwise. I saw a car ripped in half and in blood it said "Pezza wuz here lololololol"

Report it and move on. It sucks, but tis the way of the world.

Maybe when the site detects double/triple posts it should auto lock.

Guess we should take some time, look through bungie favorites, and report every post from the original poster that is a bump.
