Most kids on halo 3 on xbox live are not taking communication responsibility. Alot of kids, mostly the teenagers, say inappropriate things that embarass me when Me and my friends play. As a bungie community we should lead our kids especially the new players who are shocked on the first time they log in because of verbal abuse. The first time I logged in kids were cussing left and right. So if kids get ten file complaints they should be muted then get one more chance on a probation period. Have a great day!

Sincerely, ChrisMaster13

I know what you mean about young kids saying really profane stuff. About every 5 groups I join with in Team Slayer there's at least one younger player belting out one swear or slur after another. It's a shame that they really think it's okay to say the N-word and other racial slurs with such ignorance. All you can really do is file a complaint or at the very least mute them.

Ultimately, it's in the hands of their parent(s) to teach them right from wrong.

Precisely -- it really is up to the parents, and if they choose to entrust their child with a game, responsibility really falls on the parents' shoulders.

Typically I'll just mute someone who does that, because odds are that they won't be saying anything constructive during the game. Muting them and sending feedback are really the only things you can do, after all.

I will be honest. I'm 14, and yes I do swear a lot, but I don't ever use racial slurs.

I am trying to cut down on my use of the ~BLAM!~ word is particular, (Starts with F), just to be better to people who don't want me cussing in their ear all the time.

I hate cussing, but well, at least you're trying. Really the best thing to do is mute them. If you yell at annoying people it just encourages them.

I don't know if I agree with this. When I play social games, I tend to just take the communicator out because there's no real reason for me to communicate that much when not too much is on the line, but when I play ranked I tend to swear every once in a while. I'm in my 20s, so it's not that big a deal for me, but I could see how parents would be upset with kids hearing cursing or cursing themselves. My rationale is this: the game is ranked M for Mature. Because of this, I feel no real need to censor myself in this kind of forum. Than again, I'm not saying a bunch of racist stuff, but I still curse sometimes. It's not like you can't mute people out either...

Taxes do nothing to affect the share of wealth, since taxes are only applied to income.

So that's not even a part of the conversation at all, so it's pointless talking about it....

"for a "best" moral to exist, there must exist the "best" moral base. If the base of morality varies from location to location, culture to culture...then there can't be an absolute moral..

if you do not like to hear such foul language, then you can report them two ways. you can avoid them as a player (for their in game communication) and you can file a complaint if their language violates the rules. both of these should decrease your chances of being matched with such players. i hear racist, sexist, antisemitic, and homophobic comments nearly every time i play with strangers, and i report players when their behavior warrants it. h3 mm takes player reps into account when it arranges matches, but it is my fear that far to few people actually prefer/avoid players enough for the system to keep jerkballs with jerkballs and decent players with decent players.

I am a Floodian

I try not to curse because that's how I am brought up. Though, I do sometimes go on quick rant during games.

Like during a game of neutral assaults and your teamate decides to parachute in and block your lazer shot that would have destroyed the banshee. In the same game where they decided to part our elephant right by their base and right where the bomb spawns!

I can cuss like a sailor, but I keep that at sea. Seriously, parents need to teach their kids some values. I'm only 13, and at least I know when it's the time to keep my mouth shut.

It does get bad, but I learn to try to ignore it. I honestly don't know how you can't go without a few sentences of saying a cuss word, but that's not me. Some people are terrible with it, but, it's Xbox Live. Just try to learn to deal with it.

I swear a lot when I play, but only with the intent of venting anger, as I am otherwise very easy going. I don't swear at my enemies, and I usually have the mic off as it comes out..

After a game, I'll tell my opponents "good game" and go on my way, but during the game, I talk like a sailor. A very angry sailor that just got Mauler-punched.

I have to get all that bottled up anger out somehow.

I dislike the fact that you blame it on "kids" as I have head many "more mature" adults using repulsive language.

Mute them, move on and don't discrminate against age groups or types of people, because you have done this this will be locked.

Have a nice day.

Map guids, Training and a great community!

I don't find all kids annoying, the ones that I do are the trash talking ones.
I also find people who yell out veto and expect everyone else to do so and when they don't get what they want they start squealing just as annoying.
