As we all know, there is a way to report people to moderators with the click of a button to bust them for being flamers, spammers, and all-around mean or immature members of the community. But now and then a really helpful and friendly person comes around who devotes him/herself to making bnet a better place to be. This being said, I think there should be a way to leave good feedback about someone which would work along the same lines as the report feature (but in this case, it would be for good things, rather than bad).

It's a nice thought, but why? What do people with good feedback get? Promotions in member level? That would be preferable to a post count or length of membership ranking system, although it could be abused.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

It's not a bad idea, but I don't think it would serve a point. We're all suppose to be good, mature, and on our best behavior while on the Bnet forums anyway. I guess what I'm trying to say is while should someone be "rewarded" for doing what is expected of them?

As for it helping to bump member ranks, the system we have now to determine that now is just fine (despite the recent glitch or what now that's taken place). There's just no reason for a positive feed back system. Just hit the report button, help others, and be a generally good member and you'll be rewarded for it in the end.

And now, carry on.
