Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time
It's not about avatars Havok, but rather, icons next to someones title; kind of like what Xbox.com has.

WHY AM I BEING TALKED ABOUT!
AAAHHHHHH!!
If you build it, they will come.
Unfortunately, you built it.
I like this idea Goodeye, however, I don't think the moderators would like this idea. They already have enough on the plates with patroling the forums and whatnot.
I can also see someone saying "ELITISM!," which, sadly, would probably happen. Sure, the mods could take away these 'medals' or 'icons' away from those that do that, but then that would be even more time taken away from their job of patroling the forums.
Plus, I'm pretty sure there would be all kind of threads asking what these icons are.
I couldn't agree anymore with Duardo here. Mods as it is have very little time on their hands. With ass kissary, reading hate mail, banning people, locking threads, warning people, pissing of members because they can, and of course being harassed by their mothers; they barely even have enough time to post as it is. Sure, a few of them are able to post rather often, but the others seem to always be tied up.

Like there aren't already for member titles, even with your FAQ?
You just proved Duardo, and myself, right. If this feature were ever implimented, the spam would multiply two fold. Asking what this is, asking what that is, asking how they got this, asking how they got that, asking how you would get this, and asking how you would get that, etc. We don't need anymore of those threads, it's already as bad as it is. FAQ or no FAQ, the questions will keep on coming, and the spam will keep on rising; as we have clearly seen with the member titles.
