Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Ok, When you get a new X-Box and hook it up, does it mean that all of your progress on all games go away. I am asking this b/c with a new X-Box it has a different drive so i thought that might happen. Does it?

Umm... yeah... or you could open your new xbox and get the right kind of cable that they use to connect the Optical drive with the HD and the other crap, but get one that has four connections not three, and that might work. But I heard that Xbox HDs have certain codes so that it makes sure that any foreign HD can't be used, I'm going to try it as soon as my warranty runs out on my Xbox.

Think about it. There are a few key points you should consider.

1. If you go to a friends house, can you play your saved games unless you have a memory card?
2. What would the games be saved on that they could be played on a new xbox? Unless you modded it and ran cables to your OLD hard drive and hooked that up to your xbox.
3. You are an idiot.

Of course you can't play games saved on one hard drive from another xbox. You would have to switch the HD's.

Well, I wasn't sure. I kind of thought that the disk would save it or something. IDK?
Thanx for answering though.

You could use a memory card to copy the game data across, unless your old xbox is dead.

All you need to do Is duct tape the new one under the old one. That's very important. new UNDER old. The hard drive data will seep through the plastic by gravity into the new one!
It's that simple.

I'll laugh if he tries that.
