Meh. I thought it was all right. I heard that the ending was depressing, but I can't really agree. I mean, I know the situation was supposed to make you feel sad, but I just wasn't feeling it.

Eastwood has never really done anything for me, be it his acting or his directing.

I don't think I would like Mystic river. I don't really care about character development or philisophical meaning, I judge movies by their amount of firepower (guns, violence, motorcycles, swords, lightsabers, etc.).
