I could be set in the options menu, that if you want to carry over weapon, who you have colected from a level to a another. And YEA! MC always carried his trusty Assault rifle in the cutscenes even when i carried different weapons, fix it bungie so the weapons you use would been seen in the cutscenes!
And with the directional button on your game-pad would assign different orders as:up=follow me,left=cover me,right=fire at will, down=retreat and with the back button you could toggle between saying the orders to all marines nearby or stand up against one marine and give him orders when it flash 'press back button for orders',when you have gived him your orders, you can go to the next. And finally it would be veryyyy good i Master Chief speaks when he give them the orders,he was a silent person in Halo if you don't include the cutscenes.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world: those who know binary, and those who don't.

command interface...maybe. not really nessessary for halo. and they do have other things to be doing with those buttons, aka dual wielding and whatnot. there was never any real reason for the master chief to talk outside of the cutscenes, by the way, adn by having him be silent, the player crafts their own responses, drawing them into the character they play even more and separating no one from the character by having him say a response that the player would nto have said himself. the cutscenes thing really isnt a big deal, and they would have had to redesign every cutscene with every weapon. that would have taken up a lot of time and space on the disk for a really minor detail. and there were reasons that u couldnt carry over weapons, because that would make some levels way too easy, and in a lot of the levels there are actually considerable time lapses between the missions you play. in these times, you would resupply, and change weapons back to what use for your standard equipment. most of what u take into missions is what is best suited to those missions anyway. and u would nver take covenant equipment back into battle because it is all collected and confiscated to be sent back to earth where it will be studied for tech and tactical info. read the books, its all explained in there.
