I updated to v1.06 for my dedicated server "Zion CTF". It is accessible by GameSpy and by direct IP, but I cannot see it in the browse list for LAN play. Yes, I am on the same LAN. Yes, my monitor is turned on and I don't like tech support from India. Did this change between versions or is it something simple like HOSTS files and name resolution?

Heyyo,

You can try changing the ports. Usually the ports you want is like 3202, but you should change it to like 2304 or something higher.

Another thing you could do was host a straight Listenserver instead of dedicated. Just start the game.. multiplayer > Create Game Internet > Pick Map > Pick Gametype > Start Game.

To change maps n' stuff, during a match (not after, hit ENTER to restart the match once it's over) and hit ESC, and go to Game Options > New Game > Pick Map > Pick Gametype > Start Game.

Sha-zam! :)
