in halo, 343 said that it was instalation 04. It also said that it had a blast radius of 25000 light rears. but they said it would kill all life in our galaxy which is 100000 lightyears, so one would activate another, and do the math, it = 100000. But now that one is destroyed, it is possible for another Halo to activate, but the earth would be safe, since it only now covers 75000 light years.

Just cause their might be 3 halo's left, it doesnt mean earth is completally safe. Earth might be in the range of the other 3 halo's, or more.

Behold the power of the Originals, the Gods Axeone-Neurone.

To make the galaxy quite devoid of life as GS 343 said it would take 13 Halos. Everyone always forgets the galaxy is round and so is the blast radius of Halo. 4 Halos have the same area as the Milky Way, but you can't cover every area with only 4 Halos. Most likely the Earth is still under the cover of Halos 10 and 11.

Dimensions of the Milky Way Galaxy:
* 100,000 ly diameter
* 300 ly thickness
* 16,000 ly radius bulge at the galactic center

The Milky way Galaxy can be considered a disk with a spherical bulge at the center.

Placement of Halos:
* 1 at the galactic center for the bulge
* 4 on the x-axis 25,000 ly from the galactic center
* 8 on the x-axis near the edged of the galaxy

4 is not enough to cover the galaxy, the Halos have a circular radius and the bulge would not covered. I have drawn to the placement of the Halos to scale and it takes 13.
