Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

If you want answers, I'd PM Achronos or Frankie, you know someone who actually works for Bungie. But I can gaurantee you that they won't tell you how much they make.

I get more ass than a toilet seat.

You could check out the Guide(too lazy to link) they have a lot of interviews.

1. History

2. I assume it depends if you like work or not.

3. 4 years.

4. Highly competitive salaries.

5. Because stuff like this goes on inside.

Go to Gamestop and buy an issue of this month's Game Informer. It has an interview with Harold Ryan.

Codeword is ... "codeword". Doh!
Also, now, Alliance FTW!

I've been in the software biz for 17 years so I'm familiar with salaries there.

Figure base salaries are competitive - admin/secretaries $40-70K DOE, QA/Tech Support/Doc $45-85K DOE, Graphics/Programmers $75-150K DOE, and exec's $140-$250K DOE. Figure annual bonus anywhere from 5% to 20%, either in cash or stock.

The stock though - people who were there when M$ bought them probably converted their stock to M$ stock. In the 90s, that meant REAL MONEY. They have probably all vested all the stock options they were given, so that may well be done and they're just getting their salary and various bonuses. Those since either got MIcrosoft shares at market value (no big deal), or (recently) Bungie shares again (worthless since Bungie is a privately held company).
