Slowly but steadily making a movement..

I'm not must of a n00b
but i was wondering
is it an amount of posts to become a 'forum ninja?'

Or something done which is useful?

You are chosen and then taken to some strange place, beaten with a wet noodle, and...

Damn, it's been so long since I've recited the whole process...

Yeah, they choose you.

No post amount.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

They are chosen if you have really, really, really good Halo 3 sniping skills. They run the forums.

A forum ninja is a member chosen by Bungie to moderate the public forums on this site. They are simply volunteer helpers and were chosen because of their beneficial community involvement. If you would like more information regarding this topic, please visit the Moderator FAQ, found here.

I'm a serious dude, so what?

forum ninjas are everywhere, and nowhere. they lurk in the dark recesses of bungie.net webpages, waiting for the moment someone breaks a forum rule. if you're lucky, you get banned... if not, well, i hope you like the taste of hippo.

ignorance is not an excuse,

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Just from this post I can say that you will never be a forum ninja.

Bungie titles aren't ranks, they mean nothing just like your Halo 3 rank.

A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.

Forum Ninjas are like Kratos. B.A , Vicious, and hand picked. Just kidding, they're basically veterans of bungie and know every nook and cranny of the website.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

And yet, he's a heroic member......

Anyway, to answer your original question, here you go, straight from HFCS:
"Forum Ninjas are selected on a number of characteristics such as community involvement, length of time on Bungie.net, knowledge of Bungie and Bungie games and should have extensive knowledge of the English language along with proper grammar. If candidates meet these requirements, they may be potential Forum Ninja material and are abducted, sealed in a black room, beaten with a wet noodle and finally starved for seven days until they are released back into the world naked and confused or find themselves chained to a computer desk in Bungie’s mop closet."
