I noticed when i was watching the Kikizo version of the E3 2004 (widescreen) that the person zoomed in on Wort when he was explaining to people about them. Does this mean you will be able to zoom even if you dont have a zoom compatible weapon? It looked like he wouldn't be able to shoot with the SMG he was using though! Because there was no targeting reticle.... Tell me what you all think![Edited on 6/14/2004 12:34:56 PM]
I don't think so. After all, MC was in 3rd person. :)

I think that was the binoculars.
yeah thats right u can zoom without a weapon but you cant fire.
SB-117
Yes this is that "scoping" feature that bungie confirmed years ago. Yes, you cannot fire, if you pull the trigger you just zoom out to a normal view.
you can zoom with a non-zooming weapon but not shoot. also, when he zoomed on the hog the second time, he was using the battle rifle

He was in first person like he always is!and about the binoculars.... i didnt know they were adding in binoculars.... that would be sorta dumb though i think! But hey if they add binoculars im fine with them as long as they dont take up room for another weapon
yea but the battle rifle has a scope so yea....thanks for clearing this up for me!
Eh, are you talking about the vid where the E3 people were introducing MC and the Elite? If not, then, yes, I'm wrong. :D
I am talking about the one where he is explaining the new things in Halo 2 before they play CTFAnd the only time he was in third person in that was the beginning and end
