I want to get a 256mb and i got a really good deal on a nvida one $50 bucks but since the price is real low do you think that the card not that good

no, since ram size is relitivly unimportant.
waht is important, however, is the chipsset speed, and the core memory speed. that's how fast it loads the graphics, and obviously, the fasterm the better

for example, a radeon 9200 256mb sucks coz it has like a 200MHz gpu, whereas a radeon 9600 128mb would kick it's ass coz of almost 400MHz gpu. something like that anyway you get the point.

Yeah I once bought an ATI 9250 256 MB card and it sucked. That was before I knew about the chipset speed etc, thanks to Sexy legs Davis.

you coluld get one but ive found out that even a 64mb video ram is better than 256mb
i spent £17.98 one one on www.ebuyer.com or .co.uk and i waz suprized that it even made half-life 2 work so if that worked halo will defenetly work trust me but never buy a nvidia riva tnt2 cuse it wont work. sorted!!!
