Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

Wow, is that really what you all think of me? I sure as hell don't need this place, or your attention.

See you later.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Not another one of these "Bnet is dead" threads, and this one has anti-member stuff in it too. You think Pezz would have locked it.

I'm guessing you didn't read it too much. He's not saying "Bnet is dead". He's saying that the reasons for posting have changed, which for most they have. Impy is just throwing out there that some people are posting to get attention; as well, that the purposes for groups has changed. Not once has he said that "Bnet is dead". He said it was a hell hole the whole time, not that it just turned into one.

It is Impy's opinion Foman. Not everyone has stated their opinions of the people impy has mentioned. I for one, will not say anything, since discussing individual users is against the rules. Although, I will say this; people are people. They will think what they want about anybody. The truth is though, it doesn't matter. As long as you know what you know you are; then all is well.

It's the trolls like you, Impurity, that are the squalor in this community.

I lol'd, because I'm pretty sure that that was a joke.

I doubt it. Impurity has always been a troll.

He may make good points some times, but he does it in an inappropriate way.

Why do you say this? I thought that there was some truth behind that.

This one is actually true.
Seriously, I get the impression that--like impu said--the moderators are nothing but janitors nowadays. But sometimes it's tough to remember, although they're moderators, they're people just like you and me. And because of their status (chum-puke text), everyone thinks of them as an official mouth-piece, or starts nut-tagging them like whatever they say is WOG.

I'll say it again: They're just people, but it seems like they can't really have an honest say anymore. Most mods don't even feel like they're part of the community anymore. No, not because they haven't posted in a long time (there are reasons that happens. Life has precidence over their virtual life), but because they always seem to be a target of hate, nut-tagging, or "OMG, he's a mod, so he's always right and we should always agree". And it seems like--as much as I hate saying this--the community is better off without them saying something sometimes.

What happened to this place? BNet seems more like a tireless, endless chore to them. And of course, being a moderator is a job, and a job is work. But this looks like slavery to me.

I probably have no idea what I'm talking about here, but that's the impression I get from what I've seen happening, and even from their input I've seen over the years I've been here.

Then again, what can we expect from a large group of anoymous people?

Why do these kinds of "miss the old days" threads pop up every so often now? You people have to accept that things change, get over it, sheesh.

No you don't. You have to acknowledge that things change, not accept it. Impurity is absolutely right and he has every right to want BNet back the way it used to be.

And I think that impy's suggestion is the only option. This place is so huge that it would be impossible to revert back to a small community. It might improve if what Pezza said happens. Maybe. But eventually the next group would flock here.

Favoritism, naught but corruption. This obvious trolling should be closed and punishments should be dealt.

I wasn't aware that agreeing with someone was considered trolling. Or favoritism. I don't remember it like that. At least impy has the guts to stand up and talk about things like this. This is exactly what impy was referring to. The minute someone tries to make a point like this, someone pops up and calls everyone trolls or elitists or anything like that. And we all (even the freaking members!) are strictly by the rulebook, even when the rules they cite don't apply. Maybe we're having a serious discussion. Have you ever thought about that?

Dianna Agron is the epitome of perfection.

Quinntology.

Forget it. That's no sense in debating this.

I think it's the fact that, because they are now moderators, they cannot enjoy themselves like they used to. It's a "job." It shouldn't be, but it is.

I'm sure they get tired everyday of locking threads and handing out bans. Recon seems to post often (sometimes), and when he does, he usually has a happy tone to his posts. Most of the mods are usually always serious unless they're talking to another mod or Achronos.

That's my take on it.

Reiginko deserved to get banned, in fact you deserve to get banned.

That is something I couldn't agree more about.

Reiginko probably got quite the lenient punishment, sadly, if Ghandi 2's example is anything to go by.

Gzalzi your posting is nigh commendable, but don't you have a mill to run? Bother yourself naught with the troublesome and unpredictable hoi polloi, for they are naught but crass middle class vulgarians

I thought your first post was quite nice, but I now realize that you are nothing but a troll. I may speak archaically when I wish it.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Thank you for adding to the stupid nonsense that we have to clean up.

You could have made that point (which is in and of itself a very tired point, especially in this forum) without going out of your way to insult people. That, in my opinion takes away from anything provocative you have to say. It was horribly unnecessary, and I'm not going to stand for it.
