Subject: Firefox 3 Beta 3?

I've been using it since it came out and it has worked great with B.net until this night. Know anything about this Achronos (or anyone who would know)?

It might not actually be a problem with this site as much as it is a problem with Windows Live ID.

An explanation might help.

What's wrong?

Close all of your browsers and then reopen Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 3. Select Tools, Clear Private Data, check everything, and then click Clear Private Data Now. From there access the Windows Live ID homepage here. Sign into your account (recommended to sign on using enhanced security) and then open a new tab. In the new tab go to Bungie.net and click sign in. If it doesn't automatically sign you in, then enter the information and sign in. Everything should be up to date and there shouldn't be any extremely noticeable errors. If there is I would suggest using a different browser like Internet Explorer 7, until Bungie.net is fully compatible with the new version of Firefox.

You could try logging in to your WLID offsite and then coming in.

But my WLID was logged in. I was in the Flood and clicked on the Septagon and that started happening.

I'll try clearing everything.

You are experiencing an unknown error with the Windows Live ID security certificate. I'll help you out tomorrow if it is not already resolved.

I haven't noticed any problems yet. I'm using the os x version though...Although I do hate the new firefox theme. Guess I'll be sticking with safari. (which is actually pretty slick since the 10.5.2 update)

I guess I'm gonna blame you then. You made B.net somehow Mac exclusive to return to the "old times".

Personaly, i have never been that big of a fan of FF, if you are after something that works well on the WWW all sites that is, and have a easy feel to it, i would surgest Slim Browser. But as they do say, to each there own.

I get this in FireFox 3 (all Betas) alot. Simply go to a WLID site (such as [url]https://accountservices.passport.net/[/url] and Sign in. If you are already signed in, sign out and sign in again.

Edit: Do the url tags not support HTTPS? Wow.

Formally Rogue Spartan

Log into your msn. Go to new mail even if you don't have any, This will auto sign you into your log in. If your account on bungie has the same email as your msn you should log in automatically if you refresh bungie. It happens to me alot.

I hope that made sense

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

It's not a FF3b bug, as far as know. If I remember correctly, I've had that problem on a couple of browsers.

What you need to do is sign out on another site, then sign in again. Hotmail would probably be the most convenient, but www.passport.net should work too. That should fix the issue. It seems to be a randomly occuring bug, or at least a bug that appears infrequently enough so that I haven't been able to notice a pattern.
