Hello, I have a wireless xbox 360 controller and the receiver for my PC. My problem is, when playing halo 1 PC, the movement is all wrong (I heard it is because of deadzone). How exactly can I fix this problem? I hope it is possible because it makes playing halo 1 PC almost impossible. Thanks.
Halo 1&2 PC forum's resident OC ReMixer. Like rockified and metalized video game music? Subscribe to my YouTube channel.Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.
Firstly, I don't know of fix.Secondly, a controller will not match up to keyboard and mouse users, and they will always have an advantage over you.
That may be true, but it would still be nice to play on a controller. Not like I am going to enter any tournaments, and if i were going to, I would most likely use the keyboard and mouse.
1st. You can download things like cl0uds drivers, or you can also get Pinnacle, which is free for a while, but it allows you to use a controller on every game.
I play it under XP with the controller and have no problems in singleplayer, that is. The only thing that's wrong, is absense of vibration effects and aim asiist.

This is one of the reasons why H2v is such a terrible port while being an OK game.
Thanks SuperSnorky, thats exactly what I was looking for. I also found a free program called Xpadder, you can find out about this program at the following link http://www.xpadder.com/. It is not quite as user friendly as Pinnacle, but it is free.[Edited on 02.20.2008 1:32 PM PST]
I might try that sometime.
