My computer is 2 years old, after all, but when I got it, it was over top of the line, but now, it's just a little under great lol. I just ordered more RAM, because I only have 2GB right now lol, so I'll have 4 now, which will be much better, or at least a little better :P
I have Gears, and it runs very smoothly at all maximum graphics, so I think it's just with Halo2 that my computer sucks, but from what I've read, lots of other people have the same problems I'm having, such as slow mouse movement even at highest sensitivity. I don't want to talk about Vista anymore, and how it's good or bad. Vista, in my opinion, is one of the best OSs ever made, I just believe that it's worse for video games than XP. I don't care if you want to prove me wrong, but if you want to (and I would love you to, because I really really like Vista and I want to keep it, but I want it to be as fast or faster than XP when it runs games) please PM me, because I don't want to spam this thread about Vista and make it off-topic, because it is a very good thread, and I want the idea of Halo 3 Vista/Windows 7 (the name Vienna comes to mind, but I'm not sure if that's what it's really called or not) to be taken seriously. Run-on sentence! :D Anywho...
I think Gearbox developing Halo 3 Vista is a great idea :D I think you should add it to the list. They did a very good job with Halo 1, and I think they'd do a very good job with Halo 3.
Oh, and I'm not sure if you're aware, but you do have the ability to kick/ban people in Halo 1, by using the console. just type sv_kick 'name' or sv_ban 'name'. You can also ban by IP, by typing sv_players, then finding what number they are on the list. Say the person you want to ban is player #7. You just type sv_ban 7, and it IP bans them. You can clear the list of bans, but it's been sooo long since I've had to ban anyone, that I forget the command, and I also forget if those previous commands are correct. You can only do this in your own game, or in a game where you know the password. I forget what the command to set/enter a password is, sorry.
