Try out my map variation out of Rat's Nest: Hangar 92!
Looks really good!
The name Ghost Town is good - better than OK Corral. But I would have like the Mortar name more. I like more the names with one word, it's more haloish. But this suits for this map as well. I just wish that we can hear some ghost sounds sometimes in the map. Like the Halo 2's Backwash had Guilty Spark flying around there and humming something there.
As you made the first Halo 3's map pack have something unique - Foundry and all the extra stuff for Forge, this map pack should have something unique as well. Something like these:
*Levers to open doors and gates (just like in Standoff, I love them)
*An explosive bridge also to another map than just Last Resort
*New cool stuff for forgers
*New equipments (like auto-turret or deployable cover)
*Flame grenades (if you won't put them to any map as a default, then there's no really good reason to have the logo there in the up-right corner)
*More ghosts than just one per map
*Prowler or hornet into a map?
*New armor parts to unlock (also to Elites!)
*New skulls (as there's space for more skulls in the list)
*Also there must be new achievements someday, maybe not worth of all of the 250G instantly but least at around 100G
So I wish I can see something from the list I just wrote in the up-coming Legendary map pack. Since the theme of your map packs have been from the difficulties, what would the next map pack be named as then? Normal Map Pack? Or even Easy Map Pack? Nah, it wouldn't sound cool. I'd prefer that 'Mythic Map Pack' as someone already said. Maybe adjectives would be the thing to stay then.
I'll get the map pack as soon as it gets released. Just like I downloaded the Heroic one. Heroic Map Pack has been really amusing; mainly because of the new Forge stuff. I love to play with them. The possibility to drive much in Rat's Nest is amusing too as I drive with ghosts much. I wish the next map packs will have a nice amount of cool Forge stuff as well, and: some remade maps of Halo:CE and Halo 2 as well! (Lockout? Some day? Yes please!)
Anyways, good job guys! The map looks awesome. I'm anxious to see the rest of the Legendary maps.
