Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time
For the most part, I agree with your post; as in some people obviously don't deserve a high trust rating. I must, however, address one paragraph of your post Noshot.

I'm sorry Achronos, but all the given info you have given us on how one gains these ranks, dealing mostly with time since your account was created on Bungie.net and past blacklisting. It wouldn't make sense one whos been here not even 6 months deserves the title of being Heroic or Legendary. I was just wondering if anyone else notices this?
Achronos hasn't given us anything of how the trust system works. The only thing he has given us, which was still very vague, was that of how long someone has been on the site. There are quiet possibly hundreds, if not thousands, of other criteria that we do not know about, and never will know about. Those that are Heroic Members and such, earned the title. For example, myself. This account I made in mid July, and it already has a good trust rating.
Basically, what I am saying, the criteria is unknown, and always will be unknown. It is not our decision to say who should and should not be Heroic. That is up to those that know the calculation and how the system works.

I find that since titles don't mean anything, I don't care for them. BUT, Its annoying that if your going to have them you should in depth explain how one obtains that rank.
I personally don't believe anyone who has been here less then a year should recieve the title of being a Heroic member. I'v seen it on some members so, yes I think the bug was never fixed.
They are not ranks. Period. They are trust ratings applied to certain users, to show the webteam who is and who is not trustful. Revealing what criteria the system is based off of, would make the system useless since it would be manipulated. All you have to know is 'Play Nice'. That's it.
