Every time I got into my settings, my Bungie.net bar resets to "hide." Is there a way to keep it there? (Yes I am saving it, I just don't like going to personal settings to change it back.)

I am a penguin. Every day I boogie on down to the water, and eat fish. Once, while fishing in the deepest depths, I saw great Cthulhu... And he said to me "Shine, to thine own self be true. They can't tell you what to do once you've gone guru." Also, I should tell you, "slide".

Inventor of the Bombstache avatar!

Do you remember to "save changes"?

I believe it's currently a bug. =D A ferocious man-eating bug.

Yes, I mentioned in my first post I am saving it. It's there until I edit my settings again. After that it automatically switches. I was more or less wondering if that happens to everyone.

That's odd, I thought they fixed that bug. It happend to me sometime last week, but I just went back to edit profile, saved changes, and it was fine.

Yes, this is a bug. Whenever you change something, such as your Avatar, it turns the Seventh Column icon off.

This was done intentionally in one of the recent website updates. There used to be a bug that would prevent you from turning off the seventh column symbol once you had selected show. To allow users to take it off, the only solution or as of right now, a temporary solution was to set it to hide by default each time you select edit profile.

Just switch it back each time you would like to alter your settings and select save changes for them to successfully apply. If you know it is set to show, but it isn't appearing next to your gamertag, simply sign out of Xbox Live and sign back in or play a few games of matchmaking and it will update fairly soon. If you have any more questions regarding this topic, or would like any further assistance, feel free to send me a private message and I will be more than glad to help with what I can.

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.
