I don't understand what's with the time in the forums, in my country (Australia) it's about 8:20 and in the forums its about 2:10, I thought that maybe the time was american but I wasn't sure if that's true, I do relize that lots of people are from all around the world but is'nt the majority of people from the US?

Anyway I would really like someone to explain all of this to me and it might even help some other new people out.

if It's 8:20 where you are, then it cannot be 2:10 somewhere else. This means that someones clock is wrong.

And I doubt there won't be any time zone changerable option for your profile any time soon.

It was an estimated time difference, but I know its not 3:20 here in Australia, that's what it says on the top of messages next to the date.

(for me anyway)

i thought the time it comes up with when you post or some thing, is the time it is in America where ever Bungie is based. I know that East America is about 5hrs behind England and West about 8-10.

I don't know about Australia.

Sorry, but i hope this helps a bit.

Bungie Studios is located in the state of Washington, on the Pacific coast of the US, therefore, the timezone of these forums is the US's Pacific time zone.

Thank's, I think! Maybe someone could tell me what time most people are on B.net in the US, I know it could differ a lot but maybe just an estimate?

Well, Bungie's time zone (the Pacific Time Zone) is 3 hours behind the latest time zone in the United States, so if the Bungie time stamp says 8AM, it is 11AM in the Eastern Time Zone. Most of the US (with the exception of Hawaii and parts of Alaska) fall in this 3 hour gap, so Bungie Forum members in the Americas (with most in the US and Canada I think it is safe to assume), will be on at peak times relative to that 3 hour block.

However, I have also seen relatively strong showings on the forums from people in the UK and Australia. That, combined with the fact that people are awake and online at all kinds of odd hours, means that there are always people on.
