If you think that a bunch of guns from different games makes a good mod, or our mod infact, then you are sorely mistaken.
No I said that creating a bunch of weapons exactly like Halo 3 was lame and unoriginal and that I would rather play halo 3 than some mod.

What exactly do you think we don't execute very well? And why don't you like our HUD, it is far mor effeciant than any of the other Halo HUDs, and takes up only slightly more space than H2s
1. The Sniper rifle feels cheap, the scope doesn't work and it's a hack that looks bad. You can easily tell you aren't looking through the scope lol.
You'll be happy to know this is being changed.
2. Your(CMT) map design generally is overly complex with no real flow if you want to take a map like tensity it looks and feels like it should be wizard or derelict but when you play those maps it's easy to maneuver and feel your way around. On your map you need to memorize some ridiculous corridors to get to a teleporter.
it's a fair point, but there are bungie maps which suffer from the same things.
3.Every other weapon either feels cheap or just feels bad.
a) Assualt rifle I am sorry but you picked a horrible yellow and it looks like just well bad, granted yellow is hard to work with though. Try a warmer shade. The same goes with the red and blue ->yellow->red was never a good idea
I think you're being a bit silly critizing our weapons based on your preferencs of blue, yellow and red. We wanted to make our AR stand out from the rest, so it wasn't a rip off of h1/h3.
b) your SMG takes the halo 2 SMG and makes it even more worthless as a functional weapon. To be clear I mean that in halo 2 the SMG was a terrible starting weapon, it remains the same in halo ce.
The reason why we made it a starting weapon was that we felt h2 and h3 were making a mistake with only a single starting gun. We wanted to give you the pistol, a good long range weapon, but also give you the BR, which is overall better. We wanted to give you something to use if you were stuck in close range combat when you spawned, and when I have a SMG I can rack up the kills with it pretty quickly. We've made the SMG a better and more fun gun to use since the MP maps were released anyway.
c) I dont know why you messed with the pistol placement as it takes up even more of the screen than before, at least the halo 2 pistol was a smaller model.
We thought it looked good and powerfull this way, I don't see this as that important an issue. Whats the point of a pretty gun if you can't see it well anyway?
d) The plasma grenade explosion looks crappy without HDR or faux HDR not to mention electrical arcs dont linger around like they do in your animation.
I'm confused, I thought you DIDN'T want us copying h3. Our plasma nades arn't suppose to copy H3's
e) just about every gun reload animation is overly complex, as if people really design guns to take a minute to reload so it looks pretty.
We spend time making our guns look good, and we want people to notice it. Our guns don't take that abnormaly long time to be reloaded anyway.
Now lets move on to the HUD

c) Who designed this, someone who plays the game or a programmer? Put everything closer to the edge and remove all the wasted space that makes up 50% of the HUD
The point of a HUD is to display all the information to the player as fast as it can. The only flaw I think with our hud is the nade panel, as H1 can't display the number of nades you have in reserve like h2/h3. The concept of the nade HUD was that it would transform, into a bar when you had duals in H2V. The Health bar is not much larger than the H3 one, and the weapon panel takes up less space than the H2 SMG HUD. It also uses the bars, whichis a much more effeciant way of seeing how many bullets you have left displayed as pictures. In addition, it makes it extreamly easy for us to change and add new weapons in, something that we do alot of. Overall, the HUD is slightly larger than H2's. but it is far from intrucive.(SP?) I find it interesting you wish the HUD should be moved more to the sides of the screen, most people I know who play h2v set the HUD to be closer inward, like on the consoles. I guess it's a personal preferance, but we won't be moving it, it took us enough weeks to get everything aligned where it is now
