What I propose is to have multiple tournaments on different Bungie games, such as Myth, Marathon, Halo 2 XBL, Halo PC, Halo 2/Halo XBC.

Basically, all Column members are invited to compete and win not only the respect of those who they overcome, but maybe even some prizes.

Although the plans aren't developed yet, they should be soon enough, if interest is high enough. Suggestions are fully welcome here, but interested users should join the Column Fest Chapter.

Something to really kick off the New Year in style would be a Column-Wide gaming festival.

It's not technically a Chapter ad. Like I say, you don't have to join the Chapter, but it's recommended.

New Year's is a little far off. Sure you can keep this going for 11 and a half months?

Therein lies the problem. Your idea sounds fun, Psyched, but it is a little early. If you get people to sign up now, a couple of months from now all interest will be lost and the once great idea would be falling apart. Wait untill, say, a month from the date of the event, and then ask for participation. Perhaps you meant this New Year. A belated fest sounds good to me as well, if that's what you meant.

I'm planning it for about a month away, actually. I guess I worded myself wrongly.

It will be a tournament mainly held over XBL and HaloPC. We're still working out the semantics of it, but that's the general idea. There may even be an XBC tournament, if we have the time and resources to plan it.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

I've been wanting to do something like this for months but have not had the free time to put it together. Because o my lack of XBC and because of my having a mac so I don't get all of the auto updates and dont really care to find them, I'll only be able to participate in the Halo 2 on xbl event. If you need help setting it up or whatever I'd be more than willing.

I remember when this was going to be done when the new column came, but we weren't ready for it. :)

Well, hopefully we'll get it right this time. We have some great ideas, and in my opinion we have a lot of potential.
