it is very lagggy, so unless you have a super high upload speed, you might not wanna try it, you are looking at your skill level getting worse cause you have to adapt to the lag.

alright, this is wat your gonna do:
download xbc
get 2 ethernet cords
hook 1 ethernet cord to the modem from the comp.
hook the other ethernet cord to the modem from the xbox
start up xbc
i thnk under "tools" go to "find">"my xbox" at the top
after you find it, you should be ready to go
just either host or join a game, and when your ready, go to multiplayer then system link and join the game or host 1

alright, if your modem isnt close 2 your comp./tv then u can try to connect ur xbox and comp. with an ethernet cord, if you have a wireless connection, this didnt work 4 me, so iunno if itll work. i had to move my xbox into my room where a t.v. and the modem where 4 it 2 work, and thats all i gotta say

I'll be on my own side.

you dont have to have 2 cords if you have a router

ok, that was not very clear....

Xbox connect runs as a portal on a pc or mac. this pc or mac need to be on a network with the xbox. If you look at the back of your xbox, you will see a ethernet port, it looks like a wide phone jack. the connecter that plugs into this slot is called a RJ-45 connecter(phone lines use RJ-11). The computer running the xbc must have internet access, and what the heck, xbc has a huge how to section, go look it up.

A required .DLL file, PACKET .DLL, was not found.

I dont know what that means but whenever i try to run the program it goes, ERROR STARTING PROGRAM...I know my computer hate me but not this much...

dll's are system files associated to the application, are you getting that when trying to launch the app, or during install?

you are looking at your skill level getting worse cause you have to adapt to the lag.

I found that my skill level actually increased. My timing would be messed up for the first couple of normal LAN games, but XBC taught me to make my shots count, assisted in predicting where a player is going to move, etc. etc.

It is the general consensus of me and my friends that the change of lead time to deal with the lag makes it harder to play overall as the lag is different in everygame, so your lead time must also change in everygame. And in a lot of games, the lag can vary up and down during play. I must say this, playing on XBX or Gamespy taught me some new tricks and interesting tactics.
