Ok, my drive wont open any more i went to watch a movie i got a dirty disc error went to open it and the mother-blam!- stayed closed and hasnt oppened for me since. I had to manually pop it open and take the cd, my question is, Is there anything i can do other than spend the 80 bucks to get microsoft to look at it. Cuse this is really making me mad even if i open and close it manually and put in a game it still wont play it, anybody have a clue this would really help thanks in advance.

Buy a new Xbox drive on Ebay, and install it yourself, it's easier than it seems.
